How do we turn our hearts, minds and souls to God to be prepared for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur? Gary William Friedman has composed a service with some traditional materials, but mostly his own heartfelt melodies that reach out hopefully as we pray to be forgiven – in a way that seems to express a strong belief that we will be heard and that we will be forgiven. Cantor Jack Chomsky, who was intimately involved in the creation of the work, will guide this half-hour that will inspire and thrill more than one might expect “at such an hour!”
